The Benefits of iSCSI

As the need for storage dramatically increases for businesses (more than 30-35%
projected annually), the need for consolidation and centralization of storage assets
also increases. Allowing a seamless connection between servers and consolidated
storage systems, iSCSI protcol does not rely on an exclusive skill set required for
operation and management of complex fabrics, allowing it to benefit from the
economies of ascale that Ethernet and IP provide. Hence it has become the most
